Industry Resources

We are connectors and collaborators.

If you are looking for a specific type of personal organizer, materials distributor, or spatial energy worker, we are happy to connect you with others in our Portland community who can better assist.

Email us at neat@thelightlifestyle.com, subject “Industry Inquiry”.

Let go to let in: Donations & Resale

In the spirit of the KonMari methodology, we recommend donating items rather than seeking re-sale for items of relatively limited monetary value. Trust that your items will find their way to those who need and want them. Your act of generosity will come back to you ten-fold. With select items and valuables, we will connect you to a resale, estate sale, or antiques professional.

To close the re-use loop and minimize environmental impact, we encourage purchasing used from re-use shops / organizations and borrowing from local lending libraries.

Materials Management Resources for Portland-Metro

Below are our favorite local organizations and businesses that responsibly manage donations, recycling, and other material discards.

We invite you to consider donating your gently used household items to these organizations in support of building the local re-use economy.

This is not intended to be a comprehensive list of all resources in the area. There are many more!

Any items that can no longer be used may be taken to specific locations for proper recycling and disposal. You can find more materials management resources for the Portland region with Metro
